How to Catch Larvitar in Soul Silver

Larvitar is the lowest evolutionary form of the pseudo legendary Pokemon Tyranitar. Larvitar evolves into Pupitar at Level 30 and into Tyranitar at Level 55. Larvitar was first available in the second generation of Pokemon games. "Pokemon SoulSilver" is a remake of the classic second generation Gameboy Color game, "Pokemon Silver." Larvitar can be found inside the Safari Zone and in Mount Silver, which is the last area for players to explore in the game.

  Fly to the Safari Zone.

  Enter the Safari Zone building and Baoba will challenge you to catch a Geodude. Find Geodude in the grass in the area where you enter.

  Talk to Baoba to customize the Safari Zone. There are six areas of the Safari Zone that can be added or removed. Add the "Mountain Area" to the Safari Zone.

  Wait until morning. Larvitar will only appear in the morning.
- 5
  Enter the Safari Zone and walk to the Mountain Area. Walk around in the grass until Larvitar appears.
