How to Put Music on Your SD Card for Your Nintendo DSi

Use your Nintendo DSi SD card capabilities to save pictures you've captured with the device camera or to copy and save downloadable software. You can also use the SD card slot to play music files on the DSi. The portable gaming system supports standard SD cards and high-capacity SD cards, or SDHC. The Nintendo DSi supports music files in the AAC format.

  Insert the SD card into your computer's SD card slot.

  Open the "Start" menu. Select "Computer." Navigate to where the music files are stored.

  Highlight the music file(s) you want to select them. Then, right-click on the selection and choose "Copy" from the drop-down menu. Close the current window.

  Open "Computer" from the Start menu again. Double-click on the SD card drive icon. A window opens displaying the card's contents.

  Right-click on an area of the SD card window. Select "Paste" from the drop-down menu to paste the music files to the card.
