How Do You Get the Custom Drill on Dinosaur King?

"Dinosaur King" is a 2008 role playing game for the Nintendo DS and is based on the television series of the same name. The gameplay shares many similarities with the "Pokêmon" franchise as players collect dinosaurs and use them to battle enemies. Battles are played out using a "rock-paper-scissors" system with the winner attacking. Players must use radar to find dinosaur fossils and then dig them up using a drill. New and improved drill upgrades are found throughout the game.

Instructions

  Play the game until you reach chapter two. Continue playing until you have encountered and defeated an Alpha Gang member named "Rod." After the battle, you automatically go to Gobi village where your quest for the "Custom Drill" begins.

  Walk to the south end of the village and talk to the man that wants to find the merchant. After listening to his plea, agree to help him.

  Leave the village and go towards the South Gobi plains. While on the path, turn east at the first chance, then south again to encounter an Alpha Gang Droid.

  Defeat the droid in battle then continue south until you spot a man wearing blue clothes. Talk to him to find out he is the merchant. He gives you the parcel that the main in Gobi village is waiting for.

  Return to the village and hand the man his package. Your reward is the Asian Iron.

  Return to Europe and speak to the drill man. Using the Asian Iron, he upgrades your drill to the Custom Drill, allowing you to use the tool on Asian soil.
