How to Turn a Pokeball Into a Masterball in Pokemon Pearl

"Pokemon Pearl" is a video game for the Nintendo DS. In "Pokemon Pearl," you throw Poke Balls to attempt to catch different levels of Pokemon. Ordinarily, only Master Balls can be used to catch a legendary Pokemon. You can use an ordinary Poke Ball to catch a legendary Pokemon by using a simple trick.

     Engage in a Pokemon battle.

     Press and hold the "L" and "R" buttons.

     Throw a regular Poke Ball repeatedly until the catch is successful, and you will receive the legendary variant of the Pokemon you captured.
