How to Catch Teddiursa in Platinum

"Pokemon Platinum" is Nintendo's revision of the "Diamond" and "Pearl" iterations of the Pokemon series, released in 2008. In this game, you can catch up to 210 different types of Pokemon. In addition, you can transfer your Pokemon from "Emerald." This is the only way you can have Teddiursa in "Pokemon Platinum."

Instructions

    • 1

      Insert "Pokemon Platinum" into the slot on top of your Nintendo DS or DS Lite.

      Insert "Pokemon Emerald" into the slot on the bottom of your Nintendo DS or DS Lite.

      Load your game in "Pokemon Platinum."

    • 4

      Go to Route 211, marked on your in-game map.

    • 5

      Walk around in tall grass until Teddiursa attacks you. Lower its health and throw Pokeballs at it until it is caught, just like any other Pokemon.
