How to Find Misdreavus in Pokemon Platinum

"Pokemon Platinum" was released for the Nintendo DS in 2009. The game uses an in-game clock, based on the Nintendo DS's internal clock, to depict a day/night cycle. Certain Pokemon, such as Misdreavus, only appear at certain times of the day. Misdreavus only appears at night -- if you were to play during the morning or afternoon, you would never encounter it.

     Begin the game at night. In "Pokemon Platinum," night is any time from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.

     Travel to either Eternia Forest or The Lost Tower.

     Walk around in the tall grass if at Eternia Forest, or inside The Lost Tower to initiate Pokemon battles. There is a 20 percent chance that the battle will be against Misdreavus.
