How to Get Past the Guard in FireRed

Like its predecessor, "Pokemon: Red Version," "Pokemon: FireRed Version" features a guard between Saffron City and Celadon City. If you find yourself unable to bypass the guard, getting him to move is as easy as quenching his thirst.

      Talk with the security guard. The thirsty guard will request a cup of tea before he allows you to pass into Saffron City.

      Go to Celadon City and proceed toward the large building in the top center of the city. The large building is known as the "Celadon Condominiums."

      Find the old lady on the first floor of department store. After scrolling through the conversation, she will offer you a cup of tea.

      Take the tea to the guard and he will allow you to pass.
