How to Catch Celebi in Pokemon Diamond

Place your copy of Pokemon Diamond into the Action Replay DS game slot. Check both cartridges for looseness before booting your Nintendo DS. Turn on your Nintendo DS and select the "star" icon on the bottom screen.

Scroll through the game list under the star-icon menu to find Pokemon Diamond. Tap the "pencil" icon to manually add a code. Tap "next" after checking the game name and game ID. Enter the code without spaces, as the Action Replay DS automatically formats the code. Tap next after checking the code and save. Return to the main menu and tap "start."

Select your save file, wait for the game to resume and hold down the "select" button. Walk into a patch of tall grass to initiate a wild Pokemon battle and encounter Celebi. Use Pokemon with a type advantage against Celebi, such as Flying, Poison, Dark, Bug, Ghost, Fire and Ice Pokemon. Fighting, Grass, Water, Electric, Psychic and Ground Pokemon resist Celebi's type disadvantages. Weaken Celebi to yellow or red health to capture it in a normal or specialty Pokeball; use a Master Ball to immediately capture Celebi.
