"Pokemon Platinum" is an enhanced remake of the previous "Diamond" and "Pearl" versions. It was released for the Nintendo DS by Game Freak in late 2008. In the game, you can catch several hundred different species of Pokemon. One is Feebas, a Water-type Pokemon. Unlike other Pokemon, Feebas' location is unpredictable; only four spots in a giant pool will contain Feebas at a time, and the locations change randomly every day.

Go to Mt. Coronet, marked on your in-game map. Enter the mountain and go to the watery basement.

Select "Yes" when asked if you wish to surf on the water.

Press "Start," then select "Items."

Select your rod to begin fishing.

Keep fishing in various spots until a Feebas attacks you. Fight it and throw a Pokeball at it as with any normal Pokemon.
