How to Dig Items with ItemFinder in Pokemon Emerald

In this edition of the Pokemon series you must collect the eight gym badges to compete in the championship. You must travel through several towns and caves collecting both Pokemon and items. Items may be purchased at stores or from other trainers after completing tasks, or may be found. Using the ItemFinder, you can locate items buried underground.

     Approach the spot where the buried item is located.

     Open the inventory menu by pressing "Select." This will bring up a window showing all the items you are holding.

     Equip the ItemFinder.

   • 4

     Press "A" over the spot. The ItemFinder will locate the hidden item.
