How to Get Brave Bird in Pokemon Pearl

In "Pokemon Pearl," Brave Bird is a flying-type move. Brave Bird is a powerful attack, because it has a 100 percent accuracy rate and 120 power. The power points of Brave Bird are 15, though the maximum is 24. Although the move inflicts a great deal of damage to enemies, the user will be damaged by recoil -- up to half of the damage inflicted upon the enemy. Your Pokemon can learn Brave Bird through leveling up or breeding.

  Decide whether you want your flying-type Pokemon to learn the move through leveling up or through breeding. Leveling up is significantly easier.

  Level your Pokemon until it learns the move. Use an Exp. Share or Lucky Egg during battles to gain levels faster. Ho-Oh (Level 15), Blaziken (Level 49), Starly (Level 37), Staravia (Level 43) and Staraptor (Level 49) are the only Pokemon who can learn Brave Bird through breeding.

  Breed two Pokemon to create a new Pokemon who knows Brave Bird. Take a male and female Pokemon to the DayCare Center north of Solaceon Town. If the Pokemon are compatible, they will breed. Pidgey, Zubat, Duduo, Murkrow, Skarmory and Taillow can learn the move through breeding. In order to learn the move, Starly or its evolutionary forms must be the father.
