Finneon is a sweet little fish Pokemon that features wing-like tail fins in "Pokemon Diamond" for the Nintendo DS. Trainers have several options to quickly level up this Water-type creature. While some methods to speed up the training process of a Finneon also apply for every other monster, Pokemon Trainers should take the abilities, weaknesses and strengths of Finneon into consideration when leveling it up. When you learn the best method that works for you, FInneon will rapidly grow to level 31 and evolve into Lumineon.

  Use as many Rare Candy items on Finneon as you can. These candies are scattered around the world of "Pokemon Diamond" and when used on Finneon, the animal is instantly raised to the next level.

  Battle against Fire, Ground and Rock type Pokemon. Finneon is a Water Pokemon, so it is resistant to attacks from those kinds of Pokemon. Finneon's Water Pulse and Whirlpool attacks decimate Fire, Ground and Rock Pokemon.

  Give Finneon the EXP Share item to hold and allow a tougher Pokemon to battle in its place. If Finneon is holding the EXP Share, it earns some of the experience from the battle even it if never makes an appearance.

  Drop off Finneon at the Day Care center located in Solaceon Town. Finneon will gain experience for each step you take and will level up as you explore. The downside to this method is that you will have to pay the Day Care Couple to take care of Finneon while you are running around.
