How to Catch Chingling in Soul Silver

Chingling is a Pokemon that first appeared in "Pokemon Pearl" and "Pokemon Diamond," and can be difficult to locate in "Pokemon SoulSilver" if you don't know the special technique used to lure it out. Chingling is a small and weak Pokemon that eventually evolves into the much stronger Chimecho once it receives enough love and care when playing at night. Once you learn the special trick used to lure out these shy creatures, you'll finally get to add one to your collection.

  Plan your Chingling hunting adventure on a Thursday, as the little ringing creatures only appear on Thursdays.

  Go to one of the spots where wild Chingling can be lured out. There are many locations where Chingling live, including Slowpoke Well, Mt. Moon, Victory Road, Diglett's Cave and the Seafoam Islands.

  Walk around these areas with the "Sinnoh Sound" music playing over the in-game radio. This music only plays on Thursdays. Walk around these areas with the music playing and you will start to encounter wild Chinglings. Approximately 20 percent of the Pokemon you find in these areas while playing the "Sinnoh Sound" theme on a Thursday will be Chinglings.

  Battle the Chingling until it is weak. Select a Pokeball from the item menu to capture Chingling.
