How to Get Slowpoke

The water/psychic type Pokemon, Slowpoke, can be found in both Pokemon Black and Pokemon White for the Nintendo DS. Slowpoke is a popular Pokemon because it can evolve in to two different monsters; Slowbro and Slowking. Slowpoke can only be found and captured after completing the main game and beating the Elite Four, but it has a fairly low capture rate so you should have no problems catching one.

A Pokemon that knows HM03

Instructions

  Turn on the DS and press "Start" at the main menu to continue your game. Make sure you have beaten the game before proceeding.

  Use your Pokemon that knows HM02 to fly to the Abundant Shrine.

  Enter the shrine and make your way to any body of water. Use your Pokemon that knows HM03 to travel onto the water.

  Move around in the water until you encounter a Slowpoke. Slowpoke has a 30% encounter rate so you may need to fight a few Pokemon before encountering it.

  Weaken the Slowpoke until its health is low. Then, select "Items" from the battle menu and choose the Pokeball to catch Slowpoke.
