How to Get a Moon Stone in Pokemon Pearl

A Moon Stone is an evolutionary stone that can be used to trigger a select few Pokemon to evolve. In "Pokemon Pearl" for the Nintendo DS, Moon Stones can be found in the Sinnoh Underground and are occasionally carried by wild Pokemon. The Underground is a network of tunnels that runs underneath the Sinnoh region, and it can only be accessed by using the Explorer Kit. Once inside, players can bury and gather spheres, which are used as currency, or they can play a mining mini-game that grants rare items.

Instructions

  Fly to Eterna City.

  Enter the building next to the Pokemon Center and talk to the man inside. He will give you the Explorer Kit.

  Go outside and use the Explorer Kit. This will take you to the Sinnoh Underground.

  Tap the touch screen when you are inside the Underground. If a part of the ground sparkles, walk over to it. This will trigger the mining mini-game.

  Tap squares on the grid in the mini-game to unearth items. You can randomly find a Moon Stone in the mini-game. The Moon Stone always takes the shape of a 2x5 rectangle.
