How to Install Hori Screen Protectors for the DSi

The Nintendo DSi, released in 2009, and Nintendo DSi XL, released in 2010, are portable gaming systems with two screens. If you have young children, protecting the screens from damage such as scratches should be your top priority. The Hori screen protector for the DSi and DSi XL includes a protective film for the top and bottom screens for your system. Proper installation of the Hori screen protectors is necessary to avoid damage to the screens you are trying to protect.

  Wipe both the top and bottom screens with a soft cloth.

  Grab the round tab of the clear screen protector and separate the screen from the backing.

  Place the screen protector on the top screen of your Nintendo DSi or DSi XL. Align the screen protector to the edges of the screen.

  Use the soft cloth to gently press the screen protector onto the screen in a left to right motion. This will ensure that no air bubbles get caught between the Nintendo DSi's screen and the Hori screen protector.

  Grab the blue tab on the screen protector and carefully peel the front cover off.

  Repeat these steps with the blue screen protector on the bottom screen of your Nintendo DSi or DSi XL.
