Nintendo DS Carnival Game Instructions

"Carnival Games" for the Nintendo DS offers several mini-games inspired by those found at many real life midways. This 2008 title for players of all ages makes use of the DS' innovative controls by requiring players to blow or speak into the microphone and use the touch screen to perform a number of functions in the games. Mini-games include favorites from the Wii version of the game, such as Dunk Tank and Alley Ball, as well as some new ones for the handheld device.

Instructions

  Move your character with the directional pad.

  Tap the touch screen to roll a ball, swing the hammer, shoot at targets, trace lines and for various other activities in the mini-games. An on-screen prompt will give you instructions on how to perform a task with the touch screen.

  Use the DS microphone to ask a question of the Great Swami and to blow bubbles. Play the Loud Mouth game by speaking into the microphone.

  Press the "A" button to jump in the Honey Falls game, to shoot in Star Shootout and to accelerate your vehicle in Bumper Boars and RC Raceway.

  Use the "L" and "R" buttons on top of the DS to help maneuver around hair pin turns in RC Raceway. You can also use these buttons to shoot in Star Shootout.
