How to Get a Soothe Bell in Sapphire

The Soothe Bell can be a very useful item for "Pokemon Sapphire" and "Pokemon Ruby" players who want to increase the happiness of their pokemons. Happier pokemons evolve much quicker than unhappy Pokemon. There are many factors that go into determining the happiness of your Pokemon, but the Soothe Bell will make any Pokemon happier. The item is available in a variety of places, but only in one city -- Slateport City -- which also happens to be the first place in the game to purchase the bell.

     Load your "Pokemon Sapphire" game. Your character will need at least 100 credits to purchase a bell.

     Visit the Pokemon Fan Club HQ in Slateport City. This is the first opportunity in the game to buy a Soothe Bell.

     Purchase the Soothe Bell from the vendor. The item will increase the happiness of any Pokemon that holds it.
