How to Clean the DSI XL Screen

Touchscreen devices, such as Nintendo's DSi XL portable video game console, require extra care to maintain a smudge-free display. By design, the DSi XL gets plenty of fingerprint marks, which can make the screen difficult to see in the sunlight. If your screen has various types of marks, use a special microfiber cloth to wipe it clean. Microfiber cloths do not scratch the DSi XL's display, unlike other household rags, which are not designed to clean sensitive surfaces.

     Moisten a microfiber cloth lightly in water. Leave part of the cloth dry.

     Squeeze the cloth to dispose of excess water. Too much water can damage any electrical device.

     Wipe the DSi XL's screens with the moist portion of the cloth. This removes fingerprints, grime and any other buildup.

     Dry the screens with the dry side of the cloth.
