How to Change DSI Brightness

The Nintendo DSi, a portable video game system, can last 14 hours on a full battery. However, battery life all depends on your screen's brightness settings. Adjusting your display brightness as high as possible increases screen clarity but you will get less than four hours of gaming before needing a charge. Try setting your DSi's brightness to suit your scenario. For instance, if you want to play the system on a long car ride, you should set brightness to a low level. On the other hand, if you are casually playing at home you can maximize screen brightness.

     Remove all games from the DSi's game slots.

     Power on the DSi. The system's operating software starts up and a menu opens.

     Touch "Settings."

     Touch "Brightness Settings."

     Push "+" to increase brightness or "-" to decrease brightness. The "+" and "-" keys are positioned on the DSi's left side.
