How to Get an Action Replay in Pokemon Diamond Version

Using the Action Replay DS Code Manager

  Insert your Action Replay DS cartridge into your Nintendo DS console, which must be turned off.

  Attach the Action Replay DS USB cable into its corresponding slot and plug it into the computer.

  Insert the Action Replay DS software disc into your computer's disc drive; install the software when prompted by the software's installation window.

  Open the Action Replay DS software program you just installed and turn on your Nintendo DS.

  Wait for the "NDS Codes" list to appear in the "Waiting for DS" left window to manage your codes. Click the sets of code groups within the left window to access your Nintendo DS and Action Replay through the Code Manager software.

  Add Pokemon Diamond and Pearl codes to your Action Replay DS from the "Subscriptions" window at the right of the screen. Scroll through the subscriptions list to find "Pokemon Diamond" and "Pokemon Pearl." Drag and drop the Pokemon subscriptions to the NDS Codes window. Wait for codes to "write" to your Action Replay DS; exit the program after the subscriptions write to your Action Replay DS.

Using Action Replay DS

  Insert your Pokemon Diamond or Pearl cartridge into the slot of your Action Replay DS cartridge. Turn on the Nintendo DS to reach the Action Replay DS screen.

  Select codes to create or generate different Pokemon in Pokemon Diamond or Pearl. Tap the "star" icon to access the "Add New Codes" menu. Scroll through the codes list at the top of the screen, opening folders to reveal different sets of codes grouped together.

  Scroll through the list of available codes using the Nintendo DS directional pad; select your codes by pressing the "A" button to highlight each individual code.

  Tap the Start button after selecting your codes to start your game. Use your codes by pressing either the L, R, Select or Start buttons to activate them in-game. Some codes require pressing the L, R, Select or Start buttons together or holding either L or R to activate.
