How to Beat the Phantom Hourglass Boss One

"The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass" was released on the Nintendo DS in 2007 and was the first Zelda game to appear on the handheld console. It features the hero, Link, traversing a mysterious island, meeting characters and fighting in dungeons. The first boss fight you will come across is against Blaaz, Master of Fire, and you need to defeated him with the boomerang you were given earlier in the game.

Instructions

  Watch as Blaaz breaks up into three smaller bodies.

  Avoid the fireballs that they spit out at Link.

  Draw a line on the map screen (the bottom screen) with your stylus, linking the icons of the three enemies. Draw the boomerang's line of attack through the icon with one horn first, then the icon with two horns and finally the icon with three horns. Release the boomerang.

  Watch as Blaaz is forced to reform because of the boomerang's attack. Go up to Blaaz and hit him with your sword. Wait when he disappears and attack again when he reappears until you defeat him.
