How to Breed a Misdreavus to Learn Ominous Wind

Misdreavus is a Ghost-type Pokemon who first appeared in the second generation of Pokemon games. In "Pokemon Diamond," "Pokemon Pearl," "Pokemon Black and "Pokemon White," Misdreavus is capable of learning the move "Ominous Wind" through breeding. A move can be passed down to a Pokemon offspring if the father knows a move that the mother is capable of learning. Ominous Wind is a damage dealing Ghost-type move that has a chance to raise all of the user's stats.

Instructions

    • 1

Find a female Misdreavus. Misdreavus can be found in "Eterna Forest" or "Lost Tower" at night in "Pokemon Pearl." In "Pokemon White," it can be found in "Abundant Shrine." Misdreavus does not appear in "Pokemon Diamond" or "Pokemon Black" but can be received from another game through trading.

    • 2

Find a male Pokemon that knows "Ominous Wind". There are seven Pokemon that can learn Ominous Wind by leveling up: Drifloon, Drifblim, Spiritomb, Yamask, Confagrigus, Frillish and Jellicent.

    • 3

Head to the Pokemon Daycare Center. The Daycare Center is found in Solaceon in the Sinnoh region, and on Route 3 in the Unova region. Deposit the Misdreavus and the Pokemon that knows Ominous Wind.

    • 4

Get on your bike and ride around for a while. For every 256 steps moved, there is a possibility your egg will be born. Riding a bike allows you to add steps at a much faster rate.

    • 5

Go back to the Daycare Center. If the old man from the Daycare Center is standing outside, he will have an egg for you. Talk to him to receive the egg.

    • 6

Ride around even more. The egg will hatch after a pre-determined number of steps are taken. This number can range anywhere from 5,000 to over 10,000 steps. When the egg hatches, a level five Misdreavus that knows Ominous Wind will appear.
