How to Find Mesprit in Diamond

Mesprit is a Psychic-type legendary Pokemon introduced in "Pokemon Diamond," "Pearl" and "Platinum." It is part of the fourth-generation Psychic trio, along with Uxie and Azelf. While Uxie is primarily defensive and Azelf is primarily offensive, Mesprit's stats are relatively balanced, allowing it to both take hits and effectively dish them out. Mesprit can learn a variety of attacks such as "Calm Mind," "Ice Beam," "Thunderbolt" and "Shadow Ball." In "Pokemon Diamond," players can capture Mesprit after meeting it at Lake Verity.

Instructions

  Defeat Team Galactic at Mt. Coronet. Fly to Twinleaf Town and head north onto Route 201. Go west to reach Lake Verity.

  Surf across the lake and enter the cavern. Talk to Mesprit and it will flee. Fly to an area with easy access to a grassy area, such as Solaceon Town or Hearthome City.

  Equip the PokeRadar and track Mesprit's movements while riding in and out of town on the Bicycle. Once Mesprit appears at your location on the PokeRadar, use a Max Repel and move a level-50 Pokemon to the front of your party. Ride around in the grass until Mesprit appears.
