How to Find Mewtwo in SoulSilver

"Pokemon HeartGold" and "Pokemon SoulSilver" were released in the U.S. in 2010 and are enhanced remakes of the games "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Silver." In both games, players assume the role of a Pokemon trainer as he catches Pokemon, collects gym badges and foils the plans of crime syndicate Team Rocket. Mewtwo is a rare and powerful Pokemon that can only be found in Cerulean Cave, which is inaccessible until you collect all 16 gym badges.

Instructions

- 1
  Play through the game until you have defeated all the gym Leaders and collected 16 gym badges. This will unblock the entrance to Cerulean Cave.

  Fly to Cerulean City and travel north across the bridge until you reach water on your left. Use the HM Surf and travel southwest in the water until you see a cave entrance. Enter the cave.

  Use the TM Flash to light up the cave. Travel north to the water, and use Surf to go northwest until you reach the ledge.

  Go down the stairs on the ledge and follow the path south until you reach a ladder.

  Travel west from the ladder and follow the path to another ladder. Climb the ladder.

  Navigate the rock maze until you reach the ladder in the northwest corner. Go down the ladder.

  Go down the ladder in the next room and travel south until you reach a body of water. Use Surf and travel east and then north until you reach dry land.
- 8
  Follow the path to another body of water and use Surf. Follow the narrow path of water east until you reach dry land. You will see Mewtwo standing just north of there.
