How to Unlock Goku in Jump Ultimate Stars

"Jump Ultimate Stars" is a turn-based strategy fighting game that draws on manga characters from Japan's "Shonen Jump" magazine. Fighters from "Naruto," "One Piece" and "Dragon Ball Z" are all represented, in addition to many others. While the character Goku from "Dragon Ball Z" is playable from the very start of the game, his various "evolution" abilities can only be unlocked through the use of differently colored currency obtained in the main quest. These "koma" upgrades can then be applied to Goku's evolution chart.

Instructions

  Select Goku's evolution chart from the "Character Select" screen.

  Select 100 red and 10 white under the payment option to upgrade to koma level "S3."

  Pay 200 red and 20 white to unlock Goku's "B4" koma.

  Return to the "Character Select" screen and open Kaiousama's evolution chart. Here, pay 50 red, 50 yellow and five white. Now return to Goku's evolution chart and pay 100 green, 100 yellow and 50 blue to unlock the "B4L" koma.

  Select 400 red and 20 white. Next choose 500 red, 100 yellow and 30 white. Then pay 600 red, 200 yellow and 200 white to unlock levels "B5," "B6" and "B7."

  Return to the character select screen and choose Vegeta's evolution chart. Here, use 200 red and 100 blue. Return to Goku's chart to unlock the last level, "B8." This is the highest, and therefore most expensive level, costing 500 red, 900 yellow and 300 white.
