How to Find a Corphish

Corphish is a water-type Pokémon that can be caught in the Diamond, Platinum and Pearl versions of the "Pokémon" series of games. The creature possesses a wide range of powerful moves like ViceGrip and Crunch, but most importantly, it can learn Guillotine, which can defeat a similar-level Pokémon in just one hit. Catching a Corphish is relatively simple but will require patience.

Instructions

  Travel to Fight Area. You can find this zone northeast of Sinnoh.

  Locate the fisherman near the lookout station in Fight Area. Speak with him, and he will give you the Super Rod.

  Head back to Sinnoh and proceed to Celestic Town. This is a very small town in-between routes 211 and 210.

  Use your Super Rod to fish in the ponds found around Celestic Town. You will catch a variety of creatures here, one of which will eventually be a Corphish. Trainers have about a 30 percent chance of catching a Corphish, so you may be here a while.
