How to Find Dialga in Pearl

Pokemon Pearl is one of the games in the fourth generation of Pokemon, which takes place in a region called Sinnoh. Pokemon Pearl's mascot is the legendary water dragon Pokemon named Palkia. Dialga, the legendary steel dragon is the mascot of the counterpart game, Diamond. Dialga can only be captured in Diamond, while Palkia can only be captured in Pearl. Through the new Internet trading system in the game, a Dialga captured in Diamond can be imported into Pearl.

Instructions

  Head to Spear Pillar to fight Cyrus. Spear Pillar is the very top part of Mount Coronet. The simplest way to get here is by flying to Oreburgh City, heading north to Route 207, then heading east to the cave entrance.

  Beat Cyrus in a Pokemon battle. Make sure to heal all of your Pokemon to full health with potions.

  Capture or defeat Palkia, the legendary Pokemon which appears after Cyrus leaves. Pick up the Lustrous Orb laying on the ground after capturing Palkia.

  Fly to Celestic town and look for the largest building in the city. Talk to the lady inside and she will tell you about Dialga and show you a picture of it. This is the only way to get the Pokedex data for Dialga in Pokemon Pearl. You can only trade Pokemon that you have Pokedex data for.

  Fly to Jublife City and enter the skyscraper with the Wi-Fi symbol on the front. It has a sign out front that says GTS (Global Trading System). When you enter the building, it will ask if you wish to enable the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Select "Yes."

  Talk to the lady behind the counter and select "Search." Look through the list for Dialga and hit "Search." Find a trade listing that fits your criteria and complete the trade.
