How to Find Seedot in SoulSilver

As with all "Pokemon" games, "Pokemon: SoulSilver" features hundreds of collectible Pokemon. Typically, you find Pokemon while wondering through grassy routes, and when you fight them, you can throw Pokeballs at them to catch them. Some Pokemon are more elusive, however, including the tree-loving Seedot. This passive creature will only attack if provoked, and typically it's safe and snug in the canopy of the Virdian Forest. To catch one, first you have to find a way to knock it down from a tree.

Instructions

  Travel to the Ilex Forest, which is west of Azalea Town.

  Speak with man head butting a tree, and he'll teach one of your Pokemon the head-butt maneuver.

  Head north along Route 2 with the head-butting Pokemon until you reach Viridian Forest.

  Approach a tree, and use the head-butt skill on it. The tree will rattle, and if you're lucky, a Pokemon will fall out of it and attack you. You can find six types of Pokemon this way. If the Pokemon that falls off is not a Seedot, go to another tree and try again.

  Attack the Seedot until its health bar is red or yellow.

  Throw a Pokeball at it to capture it. There's a chance that the Seedot will evade the ball, in which case you must throw another.
