How to Find Palkia in Pearl Version

Palkia is a legendary Dragon and Water-type Pokemon introduced in the fourth-generation "Diamond," "Pearl" and "Platinum" games. In "Pokemon Pearl," players are able to capture Palkia at the top of Spear Pillar after freeing Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf from Galactic Headquarters. Like all legendary Pokemon, Palkia has very high stats, including a massive Special Attack stat of 150. Its signature move is the Dragon-type "Spacial Rend," and its signature item, the "Lustrous Orb," boosts all of its Dragon-type and Water-type attacks.

Instructions

- 1
  Fly to Oreburgh City and head northwest to Mt. Coronet. Use Rock Climb to reach level 2F and enter the cave.

  Follow the path and defeat the two Galactic Grunts. Take the south exit to reach the snowy peaks.

  Follow the grass northeast and use Rock Climb. Head west and climb the stairs to reach another grassy area. Follow the grass north and enter the cave.

  Head north and use Rock Climb. Defeat the two Galactic Grunts and exit the cave to the east. Follow the grass north, then west and enter the cave.

  Follow the path up the many sets of stairs and defeat the Galactic Grunts as they challenge you. Take the north exit to reach the Spear Pillar.

  Defeat the pair of Galactic Grunts, and team up with your rival to defeat Battle Commanders Mars and Jupiter. Use strong, super-effective attacks to defeat Galactic Boss Cyrus.

  Speak with Professor Rowan and his assistant and save the game. Head north to find Palkia.
