How to Kill Ghostfreak

The Nintendo DS game, "Ben 10: Protector of the Earth" is a spin off from the popular franchise and children's show "Ben 10." The main story is about a boy, Ben, who is mysteriously given alien powers. These powers allow him to transform into 10 different alien forms. In the game, the player will encounter the boss, Ghostfreak. This is a monster who lives in the dark and defeating him may be challenging. He is an elusive monster than retreats after taking a certain amount of damage and leaves the player to fight off waves of his minions who often lower your health meter.

Instructions

  Enter Ghostfreak's lair and look for a window. Once you have found the window you can change to the Wildvine form and swing on the curtains or switch to the Fourarms form and hit the window to break it. Lifting the curtains or breaking the window will reveal a bright beam of light that will stun Ghostfreak.

  Attack Ghostfreak while he is stunned by the light. Once he recovers, he will retreat deeper into the darkness, forcing you to follow him into his lair.

  Run after Ghostfreak. Change into the Wildvine form if you wish to do long-ranged attacks. You can also change into the XLR8 to move quickly around him to dodge his attacks while inflicting damage. Continue to do this until Ghostfreak retreats again. This time, he will send his first wave of minions.

  Transform into a fighting form such as Heatblast to fight off the smaller enemies. You must try to kill all the minions off before Ghostfreak returns. Evade the enemies when you can. If you get knocked over, the enemies are able to damage you more and decrease your health bar faster.

  Change back into a long-range or speed-based form to fight Ghostfreak until he retreats again. Continue this pattern and deal damage to both Ghostfreak and his minions until you defeat him.
