How to Upgrade a Milker

Harvest Moon DS was released in 2006 for the Nintendo DS. The game's objective is to turn the abandoned farm you inherited into a profitable one. You can use a variety of tools throughout the game, such as a hoe, hammer, sickle and a milker. Each tool starts at level zero and can be upgraded to level 99. All tools, including the milker, can be upgraded in the same way.

Instructions

  Press "Start" to access the menu. Select the milker as your currently selected tool by tapping on it with the stylus.

  Press "X" while standing next to the cow to milk it. Cows can be found in your barn, and each cow can only be milked once a day.

  Press "Start" again. Select the "Farm Summary" menu.

  Tap the picture of your face to show the status of your tools. There is a bar underneath the milker -- this bar gradually fills every time a cow is successfully milked. When the bar is full, the level of the milker goes up. For each level you gain with the milker, additional milk is produced each time a cow is milked.
