How to Catch Number 114 on Diamond & Pearl

The Tangela is Pokemon number 114 in "Pokemon: Diamond" and "Pokemon: Pearl." Although it is not native to these games, you can still catch it in Pal Park. The hitch is that you need to first catch it in "Pokemon: FireRed" or "Pokemon: LeafGreen" and then import it to your current game. Tangela is a common Pokemon within the earlier games, so finding it won't be difficult. Once it's imported, you'll need the National Dex to gain access to Pal Park and catch your Tangela.

    Diamond and Pearl

    • 7

Place "Pokemon: FireRed" or "Pokemon: LeafGreen" in the DS's Gameboy Advance slot, and insert "Pokemon: Diamond" or "Pokemon: Pearl" in the main slot. Turn your DS on.

Travel south of Sandgem to Route 211. There, you'll find Pal Park.

    • 11

Present your National Dex, and go inside. Pal Park is divided into five region-types. Enter a forest region.

    • 12

Walk around the forest until you encounter the Tangela. Throw a Pokeball at it to catch it.
