How to Use the DSi Camera

The Nintendo DSi was released in 2008 and was an upgrade to the Nintendo DS handheld system. The DSi included some new features that the original DS did not have, such as an online store, sound recording software and a camera. The camera, located on the underside of the DS, is a 0.3 megapixel camera that can save images to the DSi's built-in memory.

  Press the "Power" button on the front of your Nintendo DSi.

  Tap the "Camera" icon, from the DSi's main menu, with your stylus.

  Aim the DSi directly in front of you. You will see the image in front of you on the DSi's lower screen.

  Tap the "Capture" button on the lower screen, or press the "A" button to take a picture.

  Tap the "System" icon, located in the top left-hand corner of the lower screen, to permanently save any photos to the DSi's internal memory.

  Select "Album" to view all saved photos taken with the DSi's camera.
