Since its release in 2004 the Nintendo DS has entertained gamers with its large game selection and touch-screen capabilities. In addition to gaming, the DS can be used to browse the Web, communicate via Wi-Fi and even to read works published for an e-reader. Once users have obtained the proper software, they can download books onto their DS in text file form. Multiple files can be saved to a single cartridge, which allows users to carry all of their favorite books on the go.

Download the e-book reading software "DSLibris" from sourceforge.net.

Insert the DS flash card in your computer, and decompress the DSLibris zip files.

Download e-book files from various websites, such as gutenberg.org.

Save downloaded e-book files in the "Book" directory of the DS flash card.

Remove the DS flash card from your computer, and place it in your DS.

Start DSLibris on the DS to scroll through your e-book files. Open any file using the "A" button.
