Dash Jump
The dash jump allows you to jump further than the normal jump. If you have problems jumping across a long distance, it is often because you are using the normal jump. You can jump a longer distance with the dash jump. For example, in Level 1 you must jump from one building to another as Ginormica. If you do not use the dash jump, you will not be able to cross this gap.
Drawing Shapes
When drawing shapes, it is important to stay in the lines. In many parts of the game, a shape will appear. Your task is to use the stylus to copy this shape by drawing on the bottom screen. You must stay within the lines the bottom screen displays for the game to accept your drawing of the shape; do not be confused by the example shape the game shows you on the top screen.
Upgrades
The upgrade facility allows you to improve the abilities of your character. In the later levels, enemies suddenly increase in strength. In order to avoid being outmatched, use the upgrade facility to buy health and increase your stats.
Defeating Galaxhar
Defeating Galaxhar can be tricky. At first it may be confusing as to why Galaxhar will not die. To defeat Galaxhar, hit the clone caves. The answer is to focus your attack on the clone caves. When you hit the clone cave, it will turn black and be engulfed by a bubble. When this cave flashes, go to the top to fight Galaxhar. The purpose of hitting these caves is to stop Galaxhar from appearing in them again. By repeating this process, you will eventually deplete Galaxhar's health and defeat him.
Cheats
You can access the cheats through the upgrade facility. To access all the cheats in "Monsters vs. Aliens," first open the upgrade facility. Under the "Upgrade" button you will see a miniscule dot. Use your stylus to hit this dot, and you will open the cheat menu.
