How to Download Music Onto an Acekard 2

The Acekard 2 is a device shaped like a Nintendo DS game cartridge that allows the DS to read data from a MicroSD card. These devices are used to store music, pictures and videos, as well as software and games created by the Nintendo DS homebrew community, for playback on the DS.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert the MicroSD card into an adapter that can be read by your computer. This can be a USB adapter that contains a slot for MicroSD cards, or an SD card adapter that plugs into a card reader.

    • 2

Plug the adapter into your computer. If you are using a USB adapter, insert it into an open USB slot. If you are using a card adapter, insert the adapter into the card reader attached to your computer.

    • 3

Open the folder containing the music you want to download onto the Acekard 2. Highlight the files and press "CTRL" and "C" to copy them.

    • 4

Click "Start" and select "My Computer." Double-click the drive letter that corresponds with the MicroSD card.

    • 5

Click inside the MicroSD folder and press "CTRL" and "V" to paste the music files onto the card. When the music has finished copying, exit the folder.

    • 6

Remove the MicroSD card from the adapter. Place it in the corresponding slot in the top of the Acekard 2 and press gently until it clicks into place.
