How to Get to the Nintendo Event in Pokemon Pearl

Since 2007, Pokemon Pearl/Diamond has entertained fans of the Pokemon series with all-new Pokemon creatures and the ability to connect to Wi-Fi to battle and trade with other players. Nintendo also offers special sanctioned events that allow players to collect Pokemon or items, which cannot be obtained through normal means. Nintendo events can be accessed either by using Nintendo's Wi-Fi service or by visiting a physical location where the event is being held.

  Go to Pokemon.com, and click on "News &Events." Then click on "Video Game News."

  Scroll through the listings to see if an event for Pokemon Pearl is currently available. Click on "Read more" for more details about the event. This will show you the times and locations of available events.

  If the event is accessible via Wi-Fi, turn on your game and select "Mystery Gift" from the main menu. Now select "Receive Gift" and "Get Via Wireless." The Pokemon or item you received will now be in your party or inventory.

  Sometimes events are only available at physical locations, such as Toys R Us or GameStop. You must travel to these locations to obtain the items or Pokemon. When there, items and Pokemon are obtained in the same way (by selecting "Mystery Gift").
