How to Get Arceus in Pokemon Pearl Version

"Pokemon Diamond" and "Pearl" versions represent the fourth generation of Pokemon games and feature 493 different Pokemon. Players assume the role of a Pokemon trainer and venture on a quest to collect Gym Badges while thwarting the plans of an evil syndicate. As in past "Pokemon" games, players catch Pokemon by battling with them and using a Poke Ball to capture them. However, in order to capture the legendary Pokemon Arceus, a player must either use an Action Replay device or obtain an Azure Flute through sanctioned Nintendo events.

Instructions

    • 1

Purchase an Action Replay for the Nintendo DS. Once inserted, scroll down to "Pokemon Pearl" and browse through the various cheat codes until you find "Start with Azure Flute." Note the wording for this code may vary depending on the version of your Action Replay.

    • 2

Start your game and travel to Mt. Coronet. Head to the Spear Pillar and use your Azure Flute to make a flight of stairs appear. Arceus is found at the top of these stairs and can be captured by weakening him in battle and using standard Poke Balls.

Go to the Pokemon website (see Resources) and click on "News and Events" if you do not have access to an Action Replay device. Scroll through the events to see whether an "Acreus Event" is available near you. Coordinators of the event will upload an Azure Flute onto your game, which can then be used to reach Arceus.
