Does Nintendo Wii Have Netflix Capability?

Ensure your Wii is connected to the Internet. Refer to Nintendo's "Get Connected!" in Resources for further assistance.

Use your Wii remote to select the Wii Shop Channel from the Wii Menu and then select "Start."

Acknowledge the User Agreement if you've never opened the Wii Shop channel. On the next screen, enter your user name and password if you have a Club Nintendo Membership, and then select "Link." If you do not have a membership, leave the fields blank and select "Skip."

Select "Start Shopping" and then "Wii Channels."

Select "Netflix Instant Streaming for Wii" and then select "Free 0 Wii Points."

Choose either "Wii System Memory" or "SD Card" as your preferred download location.

Select "OK" and then "Yes" to start the download. When downloading and installation are complete, a Netflix tile will appear on the Wii menu.

Navigate back to the Wii menu if you are not automatically directed there, select "Netflix Instant Streaming" and then "Start."

Select "Yes" if you are already a Netflix member. If you are not a member, select "No," and then follow the prompts to start a free one month trial.

Select "Email" on the Member Sign In screen, and then enter your email address using the on-screen keyboard and your Wii remote. Select "Enter" when done.

Select "Password" and enter it using the on-screen keyboard and your Wii remote. Select "Continue" when done.

Navigate through the Netflix categories to select content for viewing.
