How to Use Protego Totalum in Harry Potter for the Wii

In "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," you'll need to build an arsenal of powerful spells to have a chance against Draco Malfoy and his wicked family of wizards. One of the first spells you learn is Protego Totalum, a magic shield that gives you portable protection from the spells of your foes. It's useful when you're surrounded by enemies or in an open area without much cover.

Instructions

  Proceed through the game's second level, "A Day to Remember," until you're attacked by wizards.

  Defeat the wizards and follow the trail to your next objective. On the way, more wizards will confront you. The Protego Totalum spell unlocks.

  Press and hold the "C" button on the Wii Nunchuk to cast Protego. A magic shield forms in front of you. It will protect you from ranged attacks.

  Press "B" to attack with your spells while holding the Protego shield.

  Release the "C" button to drop the Protego shield.
