How to Get on the Boat in Venture Land in Epic Mickey

To complete the Skull Island area of Ventureland in "Disney Epic Mickey," you will need to board Smee's boat. The vessel is tied down with three anchors, which prevent Mickey from gaining control of it. To make matters worse, Captain Hook has placed a series of machines on the island that turn the pirates into monsters. As you destroy these machines, you can locate and apply paint thinner to each anchor. When the ship is free, you can advance to the boss battle with Captain Hook.

Instructions

  Hop across the platforms to reach the island. Move to the walkway on the right, avoiding the enemies you encounter. Go down the walkway and climb the building on the right. Thin out the crow's nests and jump across the platforms.

  Turn right to a rock platform when you reach the last crow's nest, then hop down to the island. Move forward and thin the rock above you to find the first anchor. Thin it out and you'll notice the boat raise.

  Retrace your steps, moving over to the house. Find Hook's machine and fill the pump with paint. Move left to the main area of the island. Face Hook's machine and thin the left side to reveal a series of ledges leading up. Follow the ledges to another pump. Fill it with paint and move to the right.

  Climb the ledges and fill the next pump with paint. Return to the house, moving to the right and past it. Find the wooden wall and thin it out to reveal a path to the final pump. Fill it with paint.

  Return to the wooden wall. Look over the water and you'll see a cave. Hop over the ledges to reach it. Move left when the gate comes down, hopping across the platforms above the cave. Thin the area on top, then thin the anchor inside. Spin the gear and return outside.

  Go across the water, then left to reach the island. Check the left side of Smee's boat to catch a glimpse of another cave. Hop across and up the ledges to reach the roof. Thin the large rocks and spin the cog you uncover. Hop down the grate, defeat the enemies and thin the anchor. Make your way to Smee's boat. Jump on and paint the wheel to complete the area.
