How to Kill the Pirate Robot in Jungle Land in Epic Mickey

While playing through the "Jungle Land" area of "Epic Mickey" on the Nintendo Wii, one of your missions is to kill all nine of the enemies roaming about. One of these enemies is a pirate "Beetleworx." The Mad Doctor created this robotic enemy, which is so heavily armored, it requires a lot of time to wear down its defenses and defeat it. The key to winning this battle is avoiding his attacks and biding your time until you have a window of opportunity to retaliate.

Instructions

  Use the control stick to move Mickey around the pirate robot so that you can dodge his attacks.

  Hold down the "Z" button while aiming your Wii Remote at the robot to spray it with thinner. Keep dodging and spraying until the robot's armor has been stripped away, exposing his frame. If you run out of thinner, just keep dodging for a few seconds until it automatically replenishes.

  Wait for the robot to perform its spin attack and quickly move out of the way. After the attack is over the robot is dazed for a few seconds, giving you an opportunity to counter-attack.

  Move in close once the robot is dazed so that you are lined up with the glowing green spot on its body. This is the only weak spot, and only by hitting this can you kill it.

  Shake your Wii Remote to perform a "spin" attack as soon as you are close enough to hit the weak spot. Move out of the way and dodge the robot as it starts to spin. Once it stops and is dazed, move in again for another attack. After three hits the pirate robot is killed.
