How to Hook a Wiimote Up to a PC

The Nintendo Wii remote controller uses a standard Bluetooth wireless connection. If your computer has Bluetooth capability, you can connect the controller using your built-in Bluetooth adapter. If your computer does not have a built-in adapter, you can use a Bluetooth dongle. Once you hook up the Wiimote, you can install extra software to use it as a mouse or a controller for emulated games.
