How to Jump on the Turtle in Super Mario Bros for Wii

The 1991 classic 2D video game "Super Mario Brothers" can be enjoyed by a whole new generation of video game enthusiasts, thanks to the Nintendo Wii. The Wii controller is held sideways for use in "Super Mario Brothers," and its buttons are utilized much in the same manner as the original Nintendo controller. Using a thinner controller may take some getting used to, so take a few practice turns jumping on turtles and koopa troopas before engaging in competitive gaming.

Instructions

  Get a running start, by holding down the directional arrow key while simultaneously holding down the "1 key" or the "dash" button. Since this game's action moves from left to right, hold down the right side of the arrow key.

  Take your finger off the "dash" or "1 key" button for about 2 seconds, before you are about to run into the turtle. Then press the "2 key" or "jump" button, to jump on the turtle.

  Use the "dash" button or the right arrow button to move the turtle shell, to kill other turtles or koopa troopas once the first turtle has been killed. You can also opt to jump over the shell and move on in the game.
