How to Skip the Movies in LEGO Harry Potter for the Wii

"LEGO Harry Potter," released for the Nintendo Wii in June 2010, chronicles Harry Potter's first four years at Hogwarts. Many of the scenes in the game are displayed as non-interactive movies, called cutscenes, that cover a variety of things from Harry's first encounter with magic to his fateful encounter with Voldemort. You cannot skip cutscenes while playing through Story Mode for the first time, but you can skip any cutscene in the game while replaying that level in Story Mode. All cutscenes in the game can be skipped using the same method.

Instructions

     Press the "+" button on your Wii Remote and select "Leaky Cauldron."

     Stand on the golden square at the back of the Leaky Cauldron to view a list of levels you have completed.

     Select any level followed by "Replay Story."

   • 4

     Press the "C" button after the cutscene begins. The "Skip" icon appears in the lower right corner.

   • 5

     Press the "A" button to skip the cutscene.
