How to Get the Picture from a VPL-PX21 to Work With a Wii

The VPL-PX21 projector from Sony is a digital video projector that can be used to display images from a variety of sources. The integrated RGB, S-video and composite video inputs allows the projector to be connected to a computer, VCR or even a gaming console, such as the Nintendo Wii. The Wii comes with a yellow, red and white composite cable that is compatible with the composite input on the VPL-PX21.

Instructions

    • 1

      Connect the AV Multi Out plug on the Wii̵7;s composite cable to the AV Multi Out port on the back of the Wii console.

      Connect the yellow, red and white composite connectors from the Wii̵7;s composite cable to the corresponding color-coded composite ports on the VPL-PX21 projector.

      Press the ̶0;On/Standby̶1; button on the projector to power it on.

      Turn on your Wii console.

      Press the ̶0;Input̶1; button on the either the remote or on the top of the projector itself until you change the input to ̶0;Video.̶1;

      Adjust the zoom ring and focus ring on the projector lens until your have a clear and properly sized image.
