How to Get Gold Ore on Harvest Moon: Animal Parade on the Wii

"Harvest Moon: Animal Parade" is a gardening game for the Nintendo Wii. In addition to tending to plants, the player can socialize with non-player characters, craft tools and mine for resources. Mining is an essential step toward crafting tools, which helps the player farm more efficiently. For instance, the Gold Hoe can more quickly till the soil than its iron counterpart. The player gets Gold Ore the same way he gets all minerals. He must enter a mine and smash rocks.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter your tool shed and grab your hammer. Hammers can smash rocks, making it the perfect tool for gathering mineral resources.

    • 2

Go to a mine. You'll find the first two in the Garmon Mining District. The final one is located in Harmonica Town.

    • 3

Descend to level five or lower, by taking the stairs. The lower you go in a mine, the better the minerals you'll find. Even at lower levels, Gold Ore is fairly uncommon, though your odds are nevertheless better the deeper you go.

    • 4

Smash rocks with your hammer. Sometimes you don't get anything. Other times, you get Ore. Gather as much Ore as you can carry.

    • 5

Visit Mira at the Accessory Shop. Speak with her, and she'll refine your Ore. Once she's done, you'll find out if it's Gold Ore or some other type of metal.
