How to Choose a Movie Title With Netflix for Wii

Select the "Netflix" application from the Wii home screen. You must be connected to a Wi-Fi connection to view the contents of the app and stream movies.

Hold your Wii Remote in the vertical position and press the "Up" or "Down" buttons on the directional pad to cycle through the different movie categories. Press the "Left" and "Right" buttons on the directional pad to cycle through different titles within those categories. Alternatively, if you have a Wii Nunchuk attached, you can use the control stick on the Nunchuk to browse titles.

Select the movie you want to watch by positioning the cursor in the shape of a hand over the movie and pressing "A" on your Wii Remote to access the submenu for that title. Press "1" to play the movie from the submenu. Alternatively, position your cursor over "Play" and press "A."

Select "Search" in the upper right corner of the Netflix home screen to search for a specific title. An onscreen keyboard appears. Position your cursor over the appropriate letters and press "A" to type the title of the movie you want to search for. As you enter letters, a list of movies that correspond with the letters entered to that point is populated on the right half of the screen. Select the name of the movie when it appears on the right half of the screen to open the movie's submenu. Press "1" or select "Play" using the Wii Remote to begin playing the movie.
