How to Get the Second Wheel for the Gate in Epic Mickey

The first level in "Epic Mickey" presents the mousy protagonist with several minor challenges, which he must overcome before he can move on with the plot line. The final barrier between Mickey and the next level is a broken gate. The gate is missing two gears, which it needs in order to operate. Mickey must find the gears if he hopes to continue with his quest. The second gear is just beyond the first one.

Instructions

- 1
  Move left, past the first gear that you find, and jump down to the lower platform.

  Continue moving left -- you may descend a large ramp and thin a boulder at the bottom to collect some E-tickets if you wish -- until you encounter a group of green guardians. Destroy the guardians and continue on.

  Thin the floor that is beneath the rock pile when you come to it. Then paint the floor back in and cross over it.
- 4
  Spin-attack the gear on the other side. This will cause the gate to open.
